    It’s awards time again! After the Oscars and the Golden Globes, the Indian equivalent, IIFA Utsavam, arrived. Like every year, the southern belles didn’t fail to disappoint. Well, it would be safe to say that this year around all the stars had outdone themselves. The starry night saw the best in fashion and of c0urse leaving valuable tips for fashionistas who want to dress like the stars.     Shruti Hassan’s younger sister, Akshara was spotted wearing a black dress decorated with sequins designed by Terrence Lobo. The fringes added an element of drama to her look. While her hair was set in place in an updo while she chose to wear statement jewelry from Aquamarine.

    Aditi Rao Hydari

    For IIFA Utsavam, Aditi selected a beautiful pair of separates designed by Nikhil Thampi. The golden embellishments all over the dress made it look royal. She wore a pair of jhumkas and her makeup was minimalistic. However, the less is more mantra worked for her like a charm!

    Rakul Preet

    The black dress from Chamaeleo was all about drama with multiple layers and ruffles. And the back was smoking hot! The fashionista sported a trendy ponytail into an updo. The smokey eyes and pink lip color added to her style quotient.

    Raai Lakshmi

    Manish Malhotra’s magic worked like a charm on Raai Lakshmi. She selected an anarkali designed by the best designer in Bollywood. The fashionista completed her look with eye-catching makeup coupled with a soft braided bun and a pair of pear drop earrings. Well, she looked like a super-star to say the least!

    Shriya looked stylish in a teal blue gown designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock. The intricate work and embellishments on the dress were beautiful. A low bun, makeup highlighting her best features and of course a metallic clutch completed her look at the event.

    Samantha Prabhu

    Samantha wore a saree from the designer label Singhania. She was able to beat the heat in her exquisite aqua color saree with red and blush flowers across it. The blouse with its various layers made her ensemble look interesting. The pair of golden earrings she picked up from Aabharanam Jewellers completed her look, simple and clean.
