Finally, the long wait has ended. The Filmfare Awards 2017 had in attendance some of the biggest names in the industry. The awards function is the Indian equivalent to the Oscars. Looks of Filmfare Awards
The fashionistas slayed the events with their western wear. With Sonam leading the way other stars stepped up and rose to the occasion. Here are some of the best looks spotted at the Filmfare Awards function this year.
Alia Bhatt
On award’s night, Alia wore a beautiful gown by Prabal Gurung. She looked like a princess right out of a fairy tale. The young fashionista clinched the award for best actress in the lead role for Udta Punjab! This girl is going places and this is just the beginning! Her hair and makeup was minimalist, but spot on nevertheless.
Sonam Kapoor
As always, Sonam Kapoor dazzled us with her look on awards night. She looked fabulous in the dress she wore, which is the least to say. While receiving a well-deserved award for her role as Neerja she did this in style.
Tamannaah Bhatia
Another  fashioniata who was able to turn a lot of heads during the event was Tamannaah. The fashionista has always been counted upon as one of the best dressed stars in south India. It would awesome to see her with her Bollywood contemporaries and teach other well-known stars a thing or two about true style.
Parineeti Chopra
Parnineeti looked peppy in her pink gown. She carried off the Meri Pyaari Bindu dress with ease doing designer Mark Bumgeaner. Her hair fell over her shoulders and her million dollar confident smile completed her look!
Sonakshi Sinha
Fashionista’s take note of Sonakshi’s style quotient. The star has outdone herself yet again. She looked stunning in the black Gauri and Nainika gown. The off-shoulder outfit was nothing less than uber cool and sophisticated. Her hair was tied at the top in a knot, giving her some attitude!
Priety Zinta
Pretty Preity looked va-va-voom in a yellow number. The Vidhi Wadhwani yellow off-shoulder gown was gorgeous. It’s nice that the fashionista is back on the radar! And we loved her young and peppy look at the event!
Sridevi
And not to forget the evergreen Sridevi. She wore a black dress which sparkled and hands-down she was much more well dressed that many of the new comers. It’s not always about your age but how you carry yourself with confidence that makes all the difference!
